This Manley rotating assembly gives you the core components for a high-performance 434 cubic inch small block Chevy engine build. Inside this kit, you'll find a lightweight 4340 forged steel crankshaft, designed for durability and reduced rotational mass. Complementing the crank are 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods. These rods come standard with 7/16? ARP 8740 cap screws, but you have the option to upgrade to ARP 2000 fasteners for even greater strength.
The pistons included are Manley's Platinum Series, made from 2618 forged aluminum. These are a popular choice for their strength and ability to handle high cylinder pressures, and they come with premium chrome moly wrist pins. This assembly is rated for up to 750 horsepower with the standard ARP 8740 fasteners, and can handle up to 1,500 horsepower if you opt for the ARP 2000 cap screws. Please note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
