Built from 4340 forged steel, the crankshaft in this Manley rotating assembly is designed for serious performance. This assembly is engineered for Small Block Chevy (SBC) engines and features a 4.000-inch stroke, pushing displacement to 434 cubic inches when combined with appropriate bore sizes. The +4cc dome pistons are also forged from 2618 aluminum, part of Manley's Platinum Series, and come with premium chrome moly wrist pins.
The connecting rods are also constructed from 4340 forged steel in an H-beam design, a strong choice for handling increased cylinder pressures. They come standard with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 cap screws, capable of handling up to 750 horsepower. For those pushing the limits, there's an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 cap screws, which can support an impressive 1,500 horsepower. This makes it a solid foundation for a high-performance street or race engine build.
