With this kit, you get two rear lowering hangers, a bracket for your emergency brake cable, and all the necessary hardware to get the job done. These hangers are designed to lower the rear of your 1988-1998 Chevrolet C1500 or C2500, or your 1988-1998 GMC C1500 or C2500, by a full 2 inches. They come finished in a powder-coated grey for a solid look and some protection against the elements.
Maxtrac makes these hangers to be a direct replacement for your stock leaf spring hangers. The powder coating helps them hold up over time. Since you're lowering the rear of your truck, it's a good idea to consider new shocks, especially if you plan on lowering it more than 2 inches in the future, as the stock shocks might not work as well with the changed suspension geometry.
