Mishimoto 01-04 Chevrolet/GMC 6.6L Duramax Turbo Blanket

This Mishimoto turbo blanket is designed to fit the stock turbocharger on your 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500, or GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 equipped with the 6.6L Duramax engine. Turbochargers generate a lot of heat, which can raise intake air temperatures and reduce engine power. By insulating the hot side of the turbo, this blanket helps keep that heat contained, improving turbo efficiency and spooling, while also lowering underhood temperatures.

The construction features an outer layer made from volcanic lava rock and titanium woven fabric, capable of withstanding temperatures over 1,760°F. Inside, a high-silica fabric and stainless-steel mesh trap heat, rated to handle up to 2,300°F. This setup effectively keeps the intense turbo heat from permeating into the engine bay, which can also help protect nearby vital cooling components from excessive heat damage. It's a direct fit for the factory turbo, making installation straightforward.
