Mishimoto 12-18 Jeep Wrangler JK Transmission Thermal Bypass Valve Kit

When you're working on your Jeep Wrangler JK, keeping the transmission fluid at the right temperature is key, whether you're hauling gear or hitting the trails. The factory transmission thermal bypass valve is meant to stop fluid from flowing to the cooler until the transmission warms up, which is good in cold climates. However, if that stock valve fails, your transmission can easily overheat. Plus, if you live somewhere hot, you might not need that overcooling protection at all, and the stock valve just becomes a restriction.
