This kit starts with a substantial 19-row oil cooler, strategically placed in the front of the vehicle to capture the maximum amount of airflow. Mishimoto engineers mounted it on the passenger side to avoid conflicts with many aftermarket air intake systems. Application-specific, braided stainless steel lines with -10AN fittings connect the cooler to the engine, making installation straightforward. The inclusion of a thermostatic sandwich plate is key here; it regulates oil flow, ensuring the oil reaches optimal operating temperature before it circulates through the cooler, which is crucial for engine longevity.
