The factory intercooler system can become a bottleneck, especially when you're asking more from your truck. This Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit is designed to address those limitations, offering a significant upgrade for both stock and modified trucks.

At the heart of this kit is a massive 68mm-thick bar-and-plate intercooler core, which is 70-percent thicker than the stock unit. This larger core, combined with cast-aluminum end tanks featuring improved inlet and outlet designs, drastically reduces restriction by up to 64-percent. This means cooler, denser air making its way to your engine, which is crucial for maintaining power under load and improving overall efficiency. The kit also includes 3.0-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping for both the hot and cold sides. These pipes replace the restrictive stock resonator and are designed to improve flow by up to 55-percent over the factory setup. Mishimoto uses DuraCore™ boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps to ensure a solid seal, and the piping is designed for a direct fit, retaining factory sensor locations and harnesses.

Installation is made straightforward thanks to the included CNC-machined quick-disconnect fitting with new O-rings and spring clip, along with bead-rolled pipe ends. The piping also features three bungs that can be tapped for additional sensors or a water/meth injection system, offering flexibility for future modifications.
