This is Mishimoto's Heat Defense Tape, a 2-inch wide roll that's 15 feet long. It's designed to reflect heat away from sensitive engine components, helping to keep things cool under the hood. If you've got parts in your engine bay that are getting too hot from nearby exhaust or other heat sources, this tape can offer some protection.

The tape itself is made from a metalized polyimide film, similar to materials used in space applications for heat shielding. This film is laminated to glass cloth with a high-temperature adhesive. It's built to handle radiant heat up to 675 degrees Fahrenheit.
