The rubber hoses are swapped out for wire-reinforced silicone, ensuring a durable connection and smoother flow on the cold side. Combined, these piping changes result in a 21-percent increase in flow to and from the intercooler core. The bar-and-plate intercooler core itself is designed for maximum airflow, allowing charged air to pass through more freely than the stock unit. This all-aluminum construction also helps dissipate heat more effectively, reducing heat soak and ensuring your ST receives properly cooled air for optimal performance.

When installed, this Mishimoto intercooler kit is rated to add 8 horsepower and 10 lb.-ft. of torque to your power band, and it can handle up to 550 horsepower.
