This Mishimoto kit gives you a direct-fit top-mount intercooler and charge pipe system specifically for your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX. The factory intercooler can struggle to keep intake air cool, especially during hard driving or track use, leading to heat soak. This Mishimoto unit is designed to combat that, helping your engine breathe cooler, denser air for better performance.

You get a well-built intercooler featuring durable cast aluminum end tanks that are TIG-welded to a dense bar-and-plate core. This core measures 4 inches thick and has a total volume of 625 cubic inches, making it one of the largest top-mount intercoolers available. This design optimizes heat transfer and can support vehicles making up to 500 horsepower. Included is an innovative one-piece charge pipe that eliminates the need for multiple couplers and clamps, simplifying installation. An air splitter is also part of the kit to help direct more airflow into the intercooler core. The kit comes complete with all necessary hoses and gaskets, so you have everything you need for a straightforward installation.

Rigorous testing showed a 35-degree Fahrenheit drop in intake air temperatures and a bolt-on power increase of 15 horsepower and 8 pound-feet of torque when installed on a vehicle with a Mishimoto downpipe and a Stage 2 EcuTek tune.
