Mishimoto 89-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud w/o Controller

When you're tackling tough trails in your 1989-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with the 4.0L engine, your cooling system works overtime. The factory mechanical fan adds weight and drag, and its airflow depends entirely on engine speed. Mishimoto's Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud replaces that setup with a more efficient system. This kit includes three Mishimoto 10-inch slim electric fans that move a consistent 950 CFM each, regardless of how fast your engine is running. One fan is dedicated to your AC system, while the other two focus on keeping your radiator cool.

The aluminum shroud itself is lightweight and covers more of your radiator than the stock unit, ensuring better airflow across the entire cooling surface. In testing, this Mishimoto shroud moved air significantly better than the stock fan at both idle and higher RPMs. By ditching the heavy mechanical fan, you also reduce engine drag, freeing up horsepower and torque. This setup is designed to fit with both stock and Mishimoto radiators.

The electric fans can be controlled manually with a separate switch or integrated with an optional Mishimoto adjustable fan controller, which can be mounted directly to the shroud and set to activate fans between 150F and 240F. For 1997-2001 models, an included AC fan jumper harness ensures your air conditioning continues to function correctly.
