The factory fan setup is an older design that's driven by the engine itself. This adds weight and drag, taking away horsepower and torque just to spin it. Plus, the amount of air it moves depends entirely on how fast your engine is running, meaning less airflow when you need it most, like at idle.

That's where this Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud comes in. It replaces the stock mechanical fan with three high-flow 10-inch electric slim fans. Each fan moves a consistent 950 CFM, regardless of engine speed. One fan is set up to replace the stock AC fan, while the other two are dedicated to cooling the radiator. The lightweight aluminum shroud itself covers more of the radiator than the stock unit, ensuring that the entire radiator benefits from the increased airflow. In testing, this Mishimoto shroud moved air 41.9-percent better than the stock setup at idle and 22-percent better at 2,500 RPM. By eliminating the heavy mechanical fan, you also reduce engine drag and free up horsepower and torque.

This kit includes an adjustable fan controller that can be mounted directly to the shroud. You can set it to turn the fans on anywhere between 150F and 240F, giving you precise control over your engine's temperature. For 1997-2001 models, an AC fan jumper harness is included to ensure your air conditioning continues to function properly.
