It features Moog's Problem Solver Gusher Bearing, a metal-to-metal design that allows grease to flow through the bearing surface. This reduces friction and extends the life of the component. A patented pressed-in cover plate also helps seal out debris, minimizing looseness and bearing wear. The socket is greaseable, allowing new lubricant to flush out contaminants, further reducing corrosion and wear. A Belleville preload washer is included to keep the bearing package tight as the bearings naturally wear over time.
