Product Details
Nu Vinyl Protectant is a spray-on protectant formulated for vinyl, rubber, leather, and plastic surfaces both inside and outside the vehicle. It guards against UV-induced fading and cracking — the primary cause of dashboard and trim deterioration — and is suitable for dashboards, door panels, vinyl and leather upholstery, plastic trim, tires, and weather stripping. The same formula works on non-automotive applications including shoes, boots, and luggage.
Unlike silicone-heavy protectants that stay wet and attract dust, Nu Vinyl is designed to dry to a hard, flexible film. The result is a surface that repels dirt rather than collecting it. The finish delivers moderate shine described by the manufacturer as enhancing appearance without an artificially glossy or greasy look. Application requires no rubbing or buffing: spray on and let it dry. Nu Vinyl is made by Reed-Union Corporation, the same company behind Nu Finish car polish.
Nu Vinyl is intended for interior and exterior use on vinyl, leather, rubber, and plastic. It is not formulated for painted body panels. As with any protectant applied near the driver's footwell, avoid contact with rubber pedals or other surfaces where grip is safety-critical.
