Swapping out the factory DRL boards in your 2014-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee opens up a whole range of color and pattern options that the stock headlights simply cannot match. This ORACLE Lighting Dynamic ColorSHIFT DRL Upgrade Kit (part# 1284-332) replaces the OEM daytime running light circuit boards with RGB LED boards capable of running over 200 moving color patterns, all controlled through a free smartphone app.

Because these boards are direct replacements for the factory pieces, the swap is straightforward once the headlights are disassembled. ORACLE recommends professional installation and the use of silicone sealant when resealing the housings. The Dynamic ColorSHIFT controller included with the kit connects to the battery terminals, and from there the app handles everything: static color selection, moving patterns, brightness, and a white mode for normal street driving. You can even build custom designs through pixel editing in the app.

White and amber are the street-legal color options. Other colors are intended for off-road or show use only, so check your local laws before running anything beyond white or amber on public roads.
