What kind of controller does this kit come with?

This kit includes a simple controller that allows you to adjust the color and brightness of the halos. With it, you can dial in the exact color rings that you want.

SMD stands for Surface Mount Diode. ORACLE uses them because they produce a lot of light while drawing very little power. They are mounted on a sturdy circuit board that won't break under pressure.

How do I install these halos?

The circuit board has pre-installed 3M adhesive tape backing. Clean the headlight housing and stick them on. Refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for complete details.

The kit includes a ColorSHIFT(tm) - Simple controller. The halo kit uses an advanced LED chip which provides bright light output yet consumes less power. The kit mounts easily to your headlight housing with the provided 3M adhesive backing.

The ColorSHIFT(tm) Halo Kit can produce any color including whites from 3000K-15000K with the push of a button. This allows the user to dial-in the exact color rings that they desire. These 3-Chip 5050 SMD rings are BRIGHT, and for some they may be too bright, that is why (for the first time) the user has full control over the ring brightness. ORACLE SMD or "Surface Mount Diode" Halos utilize an advanced type of LED chip that can produce brilliant light output while only consuming a small amount of power. The SMD chips are installed onto a CAD designed 6-layer PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which is very sturdy and will not break if pressured. The PCB can easily be mounted to a headlight housing using the pre-installed 3M adhesive tape backing.
