Pentosin MTF2 75W-80 Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid (l Liter)

Pentosin MTF2 is a fully synthetic manual transmission fluid blended at 75W-80 viscosity with modern EP additives and high-shear-stable viscosity index improvers. It is formulated specifically for European passenger cars equipped with ZF or Getrag manual transmissions from 1997 onward, which covers a wide range of BMW, Volvo, and other European makes.

The 75W-80 viscosity grade is lighter than older transmission fluids, which helps reduce internal drag and improve fuel economy without sacrificing the film strength your synchronizers need for smooth shifts. Pentosin rates this fluid at API GL-4, the standard for most manual gearboxes that use brass or bronze synchro rings. GL-5 fluids can be too aggressive for those materials, so the GL-4 rating here is intentional. Key specs include a viscosity index of 177, a pour point below minus 60 degrees Celsius, and a flash point of 228 degrees Celsius.

One liter is the standard fill for many European manual transmissions, though some applications take two or more liters. Check your owner's manual for the correct capacity before ordering.
