Front brakes do most of the stopping work on any vehicle, and on a heavy truck like the 2012-2022 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty, they absorb a large share of braking energy. This PowerStop Z23 Evolution Sport kit replaces the entire front brake assembly with carbon-fiber ceramic pads, drilled and slotted rotors, powder coated calipers, and stainless-steel hardware.

The Z23 line sits between basic OE replacement and the more aggressive Z36 Truck and Tow series. Carbon-fiber ceramic pads produce less dust than semi-metallic pads while delivering improved braking feel over stock ceramic compounds. The drilled and slotted rotors help manage heat and clear debris from the braking surface. Powder coated calipers add a layer of corrosion resistance and give a cleaner appearance behind the wheels compared to bare cast units.

Since this kit covers the front axle only, check your rear brakes at the same time. If the rears still have life, the front-only approach saves money while addressing the axle that wears fastest. All mounting hardware is included, and the calipers bolt onto existing brackets. Bleed the front brake lines after installation and follow the pad break-in procedure.
