Putco's Venture TEC Modular Cargo System starts with a bed rack built from 6061 T6 aluminum and expands from there using a patent-pending TEC channel system that accepts a wide range of accessories. For 2014-2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 owners with the 5.8-foot short bed, this rack turns the truck bed into a configurable cargo platform.

The TEC channel system is the foundation of the Venture TEC design. Channels run along the rack structure, giving you mounting points for accessories like molle panels, gear mounts, tent mounts, tables, and grab handles. Rather than drilling holes or welding custom brackets, accessories slide into the channels and lock in place. This modularity means you can reconfigure the rack layout as your needs change -- set it up for an overland camping trip one weekend, then strip it down for hauling lumber the next.

The rack mounts using stake pocket mounts, which means you do not need to drill into the bed. Stake pocket mounting also allows you to keep running a tonneau cover without interference, which is a practical detail that matters if your truck pulls double duty between work and play. The 6061 T6 aluminum construction keeps weight manageable while providing a strong frame.
