Will this rack fit both the Colorado and Canyon, or do I need a different part number for each?

This is the same rack for both the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon from 2015 to 2025. Both trucks share the same bed dimensions in the short box configuration, so one part number covers both.

Can I add a rooftop tent to this rack?

Putco offers tent mounts as a separate accessory for the Venture TEC system. The TEC channel design allows you to position tent mounting points where you need them along the rack rails.

Does this rack interfere with the tailgate?

The rack mounts into the stake pockets along the bed rails and sits above the bed walls. The tailgate opens and closes normally with the rack installed.
