The closure nut on this QA1 5Q Series shock is laser-engraved and black-anodized, making it simple to read serial numbers and valving information, whether you're at the track or working in the shop. This twin-tube, large-body shock is built for circle track applications, offering features that make it easy to service and maintain.

QA1 designed this shock with a slip-fit compression tube and a two-piece body, which simplifies the disassembly and reassembly process, allowing racers to re-valve and rebuild them quickly with basic tools. The gland includes relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making the filling and bleeding process straightforward. An upgraded seal kit is also included to help minimize leaks, especially in situations with high rebound.
