It's designed as a traction shock, helping you get the grip you need on rough tracks or bumpy asphalt, regardless of banking type. The sealed hyperscrew configuration is IMCA legal, meaning it meets specific racing regulations for gas pressure adjustability, which can only be altered by QA1 or authorized rebuilders.

This shock features a 2-inch diameter zinc-plated steel body, which helps resist corrosion. Inside, a 46mm piston works to give you maximum control over your vehicle's movement at all shaft speeds. The valving is set at a 7-7 configuration, and the shock offers a 7-inch stroke. It's built with an eyelet at both the top and bottom for mounting. QA1 shocks are known for their repeatability, and this one is racer rebuildable and revalveable, allowing you to fine-tune it for specific track needs.
