This is the QA1 Front Double Adjustable Coilover System, designed to convert the torsion bar suspension on classic Mopar B Body (1966-1972) and E Body (1970-1974) vehicles to a modern coil-over setup. If you're looking to significantly improve how your classic Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Plymouth Barracuda handles, steers, and rides, this system is a comprehensive solution. It replaces the stock torsion bars with adjustable coil-over shocks and includes a tubular K-member, control arms, and rack-and-pinion steering for a complete transformation.

The kit comes with double-adjustable QA1 coil-overs, allowing you to precisely tune both your ride height and damping characteristics for your specific driving needs, whether that's spirited street driving, autocross, or drag racing. The included tubular K-member is lighter than stock and offers more clearance for larger exhaust headers, while the modular motor mounts accommodate various engine options, including modern Gen 3 Hemis. QA1's tubular control arms and rack-and-pinion steering work together to provide a much more responsive and comfortable driving experience compared to the original setup. This system is designed as a bolt-in installation, meaning no cutting or welding is required, making the conversion process more straightforward.

This system is available in either a drag or handling configuration. The drag kit uses rod ends for reduced deflection and a lighter spring rate to aid in hard launches, offering 0-2 inches of ride height drop. The handling kit uses poly bushings for better cornering and reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), with a heavier spring rate for front-end stability and is available with either 0-2 inches or 2-4 inches of drop. Both configurations can be paired with an optional QA1 front sway bar. The kit utilizes Mustang II spindles, which opens up a wide range of brake upgrade options. For kits offering a 2-4 inch drop, 18-inch diameter wheels or larger are required.
