What does 'coil-over' mean?

A coil-over shock has the spring directly mounted around the shock body. This makes installation easier and allows you to adjust ride height by raising or lowering the spring perch.

How do I adjust the ride height?

The threaded shock body lets you move the spring perch up or down. Raising the perch compresses the spring and raises the car. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended adjustment range.

What does the damping adjustment do?

The damping adjustment controls how quickly the shock compresses and rebounds. More damping gives you a firmer ride and reduces body roll in corners. Less damping gives you a softer ride.
