What is a coil-over suspension?

A coil-over suspension combines the coil spring and shock absorber into a single unit. This design is more compact and allows for easier ride height adjustment compared to traditional separate spring and shock setups. It's a popular upgrade for improved handling and a lowered stance.

What does 'single adjustable' mean?

Single adjustable shocks allow you to adjust the rebound damping. Rebound controls how quickly the shock returns to its extended position after being compressed. Adjusting the rebound can fine-tune the ride quality and handling characteristics of your vehicle.

Do I need drop spindles to achieve the advertised ride height?

No, you don't need drop spindles. The kit provides 3" to 5" of drop with standard spindles. If you want an even lower stance, you can use drop spindles to achieve a 5" to 7" drop. Spindles are included.

Designed specifically for 65-79 F-100s, the front system is 3.75" narrower than a Crown Vic, providing ideal handling and allowing fitment of larger wheels and tires. The system also saves 150 lbs of weight and provides 3" to 5" of drop with standard spindles and 5" to 7" with drop spindles. Everything you need is included, all the way down to the hardware. In addition to double- or single-adjustable shocks and high travel springs, you get upper and lower control arms, upper and lower crossmembers, rack and pinion steering, and stock or drop spindles. All components included in these systems are proudly made in QA1's Lakeville, Minnesota facility. All QA1 shocks are 100% dyno tested and serialized.
