QA1 75-81 GM F-Body Level 3 Handling Kit

QA1's Level 3 Handling Kit for the 1975-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird is their top-tier package for second-gen F-body owners who want both serious handling and room for massive wheels and tires. The headlining feature is a custom narrowed 9-inch rear housing rated for 800 horsepower.

Custom 9-Inch Rear Housing

The included narrowed Ford 9-inch housing is fabricated with a center section and 3-inch OD wall axle tubes. The 31-spline axles are rated to 650 horsepower, and the housing itself supports up to 800 horsepower. It comes narrowed 2.5 inches per side for mini tubs, with a 56-1/8-inch wheel mounting width. Standard features include powder coat, drain and fill plugs, a jack pad, and all necessary hardware. Uses Big Ford New Style Torino axle flanges with a 5x4-3/4 bolt pattern.

Adjustable 4-Link Rear Suspension

The adjustable four-link design replaces the factory leaf springs and eliminates wheel hop while improving both traction and handling. Combined with the narrowed housing, you can fit 12-inch-wide wheels with 335-series tires -- a massive footprint that overhauls the car's capability.

Lightweight Front Suspension with MOD Coilovers

Up front, lightweight tubular control arms improve geometry and reduce flex. Front and rear QA1 MOD Series 4-way adjustable coilovers give you precise control over ride height and damping. Sway bars and subframe connectors reduce body roll and chassis flex.

Installation Notes

The rear crossmember requires minimal MIG welding; all other components are direct bolt-in. Exhaust modifications may be needed. Mini tubs are recommended for maximum tire width.
