QA1 79-86 Ford Mustang Level 2 Handling Kit w/ Shocks

QA1's Level 2 Handling Kit targets 1979-1986 Fox Body Mustang owners who want sharper cornering, less body roll, and a more connected driving feel, whether it is on the street or at a track day event. This is the narrow stance version, retaining factory track width for early Fox Body cars.

The foundation is a tubular K-member that weighs just 25 pounds, roughly half the stock unit, while also opening up engine bay room. Engine mounts are sold separately and are available for factory engines and popular swaps including Coyote motors. Inverted front struts feature a large-diameter shaft and lightweight aluminum body, paired with springs optimized for handling and street performance rather than drag racing weight transfer. Up to 2 inches of ride height drop is available. Aluminum caster camber plates allow precise geometry adjustment for cornering performance.

The rear gets double-adjustable coilovers for independent compression and rebound tuning, boxed trailing arms for rigidity, and tubular control arms that solve the flexing and bushing bind inherent in the factory pieces. Both front and rear sway bars are included to reduce body roll. The whole system bolts in with no welding, and QA1 makes it in the USA.

Engine mounts are not included and must be purchased separately. This kit is not compatible with Cobra IRS.
