Weight reduction starts up front with QA1's tubular K-member, which sheds 30 pounds compared to the stock crossmember while also opening up engine bay access for maintenance and engine swaps. Mounts are available for big block, small block, LS, and LT engines. The tubular front lower control arm eliminates the factory spring bucket, cutting more weight and helping the car transfer weight more effectively off the line. Adjustable front struts give you full control over compression and rebound so you can fine-tune how the car launches.
Out back, adjustable trailing arms let you set axle position precisely for proper tire clearance, and they are much stiffer than factory parts to reduce deflection and energy loss during acceleration. The tubular rear sway bar keeps the rear end square to the axle for consistent launches, and QA1 subframe connectors tie the unibody frame together to prevent the chassis twist that plagues third-gen F-bodies under hard acceleration.
Everything in this kit is bolt-on, which makes the installation process straightforward compared to a full back-half conversion. QA1 recommends pairing this kit with their tunnel-mounted torque arm and transmission crossmember for the best results. Engine mounts are not included. Components are manufactured in the USA, and shocks and struts are eligible for a limited lifetime warranty.
