What is adjustable damping?

Adjustable damping lets you change how quickly the shock compresses and rebounds. This affects ride quality and handling. With single adjustable shocks, both compression and rebound change together.

What spring rate should I choose?

The 600 lb/in spring rate is a good starting point for most Mustang II builds. If your car has a lot of added weight (big block, heavy accessories), you may need a higher spring rate. If it's a lightweight build, a lower rate may be better.

Are these shocks rebuildable?

Yes, these QA1 shocks can be rebuilt and re-valved by QA1 or QA1 authorized service centers. Rebuilding can extend the life of your shocks and maintain optimal performance. Contact QA1 directly for service information.
