QTP 2.25in Bolt-On QTEC Electric Cutout Valve - Single

This is the QTP 2.25-inch bolt-on electric cutout valve, part number QTEC225. It's designed to give you the option of running a straight-pipe exhaust sound whenever you want it, without permanently altering your exhaust system. You can easily switch between a quieter, more street-friendly tone and a loud, aggressive exhaust note with the flip of a switch.

The valve itself is well-built from durable stainless steel, ensuring it can handle the heat and exhaust gases. It bolts directly into your existing exhaust system, typically placed just after the catalytic converter and before the muffler. When closed, exhaust gases flow through your muffler as usual. When you open the valve electronically, the gases bypass the muffler entirely, giving you that wide-open exhaust sound. This makes it easy to adjust your car's sound profile for different driving situations or preferences.

Keep in mind that this cutout is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. You'll need to check local emissions regulations to ensure compliance in your area. Installation involves bolting the valve in place and wiring the electric actuator to a switch inside your cabin.
