QTP QTEC Electric Valves

The butterfly valve in this QTP exhaust cutout is made from 304 stainless steel, a material known for its resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. This is important because exhaust systems operate under some pretty harsh conditions. This particular cutout uses a 12-volt electric motor, meaning you can open or close the valve with the flip of a switch from inside your vehicle. When the valve is open, it bypasses the muffler, giving you a much louder, more aggressive exhaust note and potentially a slight bump in performance. Close it up, and you're back to your normal exhaust sound.
