QTP QTEC Electric Valves

This is the QTP QTEC50CPT0 electric exhaust cutout system. It's designed to give you the ability to change your vehicle's exhaust note on demand, from a quiet, street-friendly tone to a wide-open, performance sound. The system uses an electric actuator to open and close a butterfly valve within the exhaust pipe, allowing you to bypass the muffler or catalytic converter when you want more sound and flow, and close it off when you want to go back to a more subdued exhaust note. This is a popular modification for those who want the best of both worlds without having to install a completely different exhaust system.

The QTEC50CPT0 kit comes with everything you need to get it installed and working. You'll find the stainless steel exhaust valve itself, which is built to handle the heat and pressure of your exhaust system. It also includes a complete wiring harness that runs from the valve to your cabin, along with a dash-mounted controller. This controller lets you easily open or close the valve with the push of a button, giving you instant control over your exhaust sound. The stainless steel construction means it's well-built to resist corrosion and hold up over time, even in harsh exhaust environments. Installation involves cutting a section out of your existing exhaust pipe and welding this valve in place, then running the wiring and mounting the controller.
