The Rancho RS9000XL shock absorber features a 2.75-inch tri-tube body, which helps it handle extreme temperature changes, operating effectively between -40 and 248°F. This design allows for cooler operation and increased vehicle control, especially important when towing or off-roading your 2000-2005 Ford Excursion.

Built for durability, this shock absorber includes an 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, along with double-welded loops at stress areas for added strength. The 1.25-inch sintered iron piston enhances structural integrity, while a low-friction seal retains gas and oil for smoother performance. A graphite-filled fluon-banded piston and polyurethane bushings help absorb road harshness, making for a more comfortable ride.
