This shock absorber is well-built with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, plus double-welded loops at stress points for added strength. Inside, a 35mm sintered iron piston and a low-friction seal work together to control fluid and gas, ensuring quicker rebound and smoother compression. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, allowing it to operate cooler and maintain control even in extreme temperatures, from -40 to 248°F. Rancho's Cross Tuned technology and Progressive Engagement Valving are custom-tuned for your Ram 1500, helping to absorb impacts, minimize rough ride at low speeds, and maintain shock motion control without flutter.
