This shock is built to help your truck handle better, whether you're on the pavement or heading off-road. It uses a unique valving system that's tuned specifically for your Ram 1500 to absorb impacts smoothly and keep the ride controlled.

Rancho built these shocks to last. They feature a nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, along with double-welded loops for strength in key areas. The large, twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep the shock running cooler and allows it to handle extreme temperatures, from -40 to 248°F. A self-lubricating seal helps retain gas and oil, contributing to quicker rebound and smoother compression. The fluon-banded piston also helps the shock respond better to changing road conditions, leading to a smoother ride overall.

This shock absorber is pressurized with nitrogen gas to 150 PSI. This helps prevent air from mixing with the oil, which reduces damping performance fade and foaming.
