Rancho RS9000XL RS999055 is a front shock absorber designed for a wide range of hardworking trucks and SUVs, including models like the 2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500, 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, and 2000-2013 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. This shock absorber offers nine distinct levels of adjustable damping, allowing you to fine-tune your vehicle's ride firmness for everything from daily driving to towing heavy loads or tackling off-road trails.

The RS9000XL series is recognized as the first nine-position manually adjustable shock absorber in the off-road market. It features a large 2.75-inch tri-tube body filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep the shock cooler during extreme use and allows it to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F. Inside, a 1.25-inch sintered iron piston and an 18mm nitro-carburized rod provide structural integrity and resist scuffs and corrosion. A low-friction seal and graphite-filled fluon-banded piston work together to absorb road harshness and ensure a smoother ride with quicker rebound and compression.

To further combat performance fade, these shocks are nitrogen gas pressurized to 120 PSI, which minimizes air-to-oil mixing. The shock also includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and bushings for improved responsiveness.
