Rancho 07-17 Jeep Wrangler Rear RS5000X Shock

Rancho is known for suspension components that hold up to tough conditions, and this RS5000X shock absorber is built with that reputation in mind. It’s designed specifically for your 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler, aiming to give you a more controlled ride whether you're on the pavement or exploring off-road.

This shock features a unique valving system that Rancho calls Cross Tuned technology, which works with an advanced compression phase to improve how your Jeep handles. The application-specific piston and a large, twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid help manage heat, even in extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F, which helps reduce damping fade. You'll also find a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that's strong and resists corrosion, along with double-welded loops at stress points for added durability.

To help smooth out the ride, it includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings that absorb impacts. The Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned for your Wrangler to help reduce initial jolts at lower speeds. This shock comes pressurized with nitrogen gas to 150 PSI, which helps prevent air from mixing with the oil and reduces performance fade.
