You're getting a single Rancho RS5000X shock absorber, designed specifically for your 2011-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD, or GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD. This shock absorber is built to improve your truck's handling both on the pavement and when you venture off-road.

Inside this shock, you'll find a unique valving system that helps manage fluid transfer to absorb impacts smoothly. It features a large, twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep the shock cooler during operation and allows it to handle extreme temperatures, from -40 to 248°F. The 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod is strong and resists scuffs and corrosion, while double-welded loops add durability at stress points. A 35mm sintered iron piston also contributes to its solid construction.

The nitrogen gas pressurization to 150 PSI helps prevent the oil and gas from mixing, which reduces damping performance fade and foaming. You'll also notice a smoother ride thanks to the polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings that absorb harshness, while the fluon-banded piston responds quickly to changing road conditions. This shock is custom-tuned for your specific vehicle to help minimize rough impacts at low speeds and maintain control.
