This Rancho RS5000X shock absorber is built specifically for your 2011-2018 Ram 1500. It's designed to replace your worn-out front shocks, helping to restore your truck's ride comfort and handling. Rancho's exclusive valving system works to improve how your truck handles both on the pavement and when you venture off-road.

Inside this shock, you'll find a 35mm sintered iron piston for solid structural integrity, paired with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that's tough against scuffs and corrosion. The large twin-tube body is filled with an all-weather fluid, allowing it to operate cooler and maintain performance even in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F. A low-friction seal keeps the gas and oil where they belong, ensuring quicker rebound and smoother compression. Rancho's Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned for your Ram 1500 to help absorb those initial impacts at lower speeds, smoothing out the ride.
