Rancho RS5000X shock absorber, part number RS55380, is built for your 2011-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or GMC Sierra 2500 HD. This shock is designed to give you better control and a smoother ride, whether you're on the pavement or heading off-road.

It features a unique valving system that Rancho calls Progressive Engagement Valving, which helps absorb those initial bumps at slower speeds to reduce harshness. The large twin-tube body is filled with fluid that can handle extreme temperatures, from -40 to 248°F, helping to keep the shock operating consistently and reducing fade. The 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod is strong and resists corrosion, while the double-welded loops at stress points add extra durability. A low-friction seal keeps the gas and oil inside, ensuring quicker rebound and smoother compression.

This shock absorber also includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings to help soak up ride imperfections. The Cross Tuned technology works with the valving to improve overall handling and performance. It comes with a polyvinyl protective boot to shield the rod.
