This is the Rancho RS7MT monotube shock absorber for the front of your 2011-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. These shocks are built to handle tough conditions, whether you're on the highway or tackling off-road trails, and they're especially useful if you've upgraded to larger tires.

The large 2-inch monotube body is filled with all-weather fluid, which helps dissipate heat effectively. This means the shock can operate cooler, giving you better vehicle control and reducing the chance of shock fade, even in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248 degrees Fahrenheit. Rancho also included an integrated dirt wiper sealing system to keep moisture, dirt, and debris out of the shock, protecting the internal components. Inside, a 46mm fluon-banded piston ensures consistent sealing for precise control, and a 14mm hardened chrome piston rod resists scuffs and corrosion.

You'll also notice a smoother ride thanks to the internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings, which help reduce noise and vibration.
