The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber is built to help restore that controlled feeling, whether you're cruising down the highway or tackling some rougher terrain.

These shocks feature a unique valving system that's custom-tuned for your specific truck, helping to regulate fluid transfer and absorb impacts smoothly. The large twin-tube body is filled with an all-weather fluid, which keeps them operating cooler and more consistently, even in extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F. You'll also find a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that's tough against scuffs and corrosion, plus a 35mm sintered iron piston for added strength.

Rancho also includes a low-friction seal to keep the gas and oil where they belong, ensuring quicker rebound and smoother compression. For added comfort, polyurethane rebound bumpers and rubber bushings help soak up harshness, while the fluon-banded piston adjusts to changing road conditions.
