This shock features a large, 35mm sintered iron piston and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod, which helps resist scuffs and corrosion, making it well-built for the long haul. The twin-tube body is filled with an all-weather fluid and pressurized with nitrogen gas to 150 PSI. This setup helps keep the shock running cooler, even in extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F, and reduces the chance of damping fluid foaming, which helps maintain consistent performance and control.
