Rancho 59-66 Jeep CJ3 Front RS5000X Shock

What you get here is a single Rancho RS5000X shock absorber, part number RS55119. This shock is built to handle a wide range of vehicles, including popular models like the Jeep CJ3, CJ5, CJ7, International Scout, and Toyota Land Cruiser. It's designed to give you a noticeable improvement in how your vehicle handles, both on the pavement and when you venture off-road.

Rancho put some thought into making these shocks last and perform well. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep things cool even when temperatures get extreme, from -40°F up to 248°F. This cooler operation means more consistent damping and better vehicle control. Inside, a 35mm sintered iron piston and a 16mm nitro-carburized rod work together to manage shock motion and resist wear and corrosion. You'll also find a low-friction seal that helps keep the gas and oil where they belong, ensuring quicker rebound and smoother compression.

To help smooth out the ride, Rancho included a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings that absorb harshness.
