These shocks are built to last. They feature a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, plus double-welded loops at stress points for added strength. The large, twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, allowing it to operate cooler and handle extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F. Inside, a 35mm sintered iron piston adds structural integrity, while a fluon-banded piston enhances responsiveness to road conditions. Rancho also includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings to help soak up impacts and minimize harshness.

To help maintain vehicle control and reduce damping fade, Rancho tunes the Compression Control Valve specifically for your vehicle application. This helps regulate fluid transfer and absorb impacts without disc flutter. The nitrogen gas is pressurized to 150 PSI to keep air and oil from mixing, which helps prevent foaming and loss of performance. You also get a protective polyvinyl boot to keep the shock clean.
