This shock absorber uses a unique valving system that's custom-tuned for your specific vehicle. It features a large, twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep things cool even when temperatures get extreme, from -40 to 248°F. The 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod is strong and resists scuffs and corrosion, while a 35mm sintered iron piston adds structural integrity. You'll also find a low-friction seal that helps retain gas and oil for smoother operation and quicker rebound. For added comfort, it includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings to soak up harshness from the road.

Rancho fills these shocks with nitrogen gas at 150 PSI. This helps prevent the oil and gas from mixing, which reduces damping performance fade and foaming, so you get consistent control. The polyvinyl protective boot keeps the rod clean and protected.
