The Rancho RS9000XL shock absorber is built for your 1997-2003 Ford F-150 or 2004 F-150 Heritage, offering a notable improvement in ride control. This shock features a unique nine-position adjustment knob, letting you dial in the perfect firmness whether you're cruising on the highway or tackling tougher terrain off-road. Inside, a tri-tube body, which can be up to 2.38 inches in diameter depending on the application, is filled with all-weather fluid. This setup helps keep the shock cooler during demanding use, allowing for better vehicle control and preventing performance fade. The shock also includes a graphite-filled fluon-banded piston and polyurethane bushings to help absorb road impacts for a smoother ride. Rancho finishes this shock with a tough, liquid metallic premium finish and a polyvinyl boot to resist chips and extend its lifespan.
