This Rancho RS5000X shock absorber features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod, which is built to resist scuffs and corrosion. It's designed specifically for the rear of your 1999-2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty, helping to improve both on- and off-road handling. The application-specific piston and Cross Tuned technology work together to provide better control over shock motion and absorb impacts effectively.

Inside, you'll find a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid that can handle extreme temperatures, from -40 to 248°F, keeping operation cooler and more consistent. The Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned for your F-250 Super Duty to reduce initial impacts at low speeds, minimizing a rough ride. A low-friction seal helps retain gas and oil for quicker rebound, while a fluon-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions for a smoother overall experience.
