This rear shock absorber is designed to give you better control and a smoother ride, whether you're on the pavement or hitting the trails. It uses Rancho's unique valving system to help manage how the shock compresses and rebounds, making a noticeable difference in how your truck handles.

This shock absorber is well-built to last. It features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, along with double-welded loops at stress points for added strength. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, which helps keep the shock running cooler and allows it to handle extreme temperatures from -40 to 248°F. Inside, a 35mm sintered iron piston adds structural integrity, and a fluon-banded piston enhances responsiveness to road conditions for a smoother feel. The nitrogen gas pressurization to 150 PSI helps prevent foaming and reduces damping performance fade.
