This Rancho RS5000X shock absorber comes with the shock absorber itself, a polyvinyl protective boot, and rubber bushings. It's built to handle a wide range of conditions, featuring a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid that can operate in temperatures from -40 to 248°F. This design helps keep the shock cooler, which in turn helps maintain vehicle control.

Inside, you'll find a 35mm sintered iron piston for solid structural integrity and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion. The shock also uses a unique valving system, including a Compression Control Valve custom-tuned to regulate fluid transfer and absorb impacts without disc flutter, helping to maintain shock motion control. A low-friction seal keeps gas and oil in for quicker rebound and smoother compression, while a fluon-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions for a smoother ride.
